Instapot Cheesy Grits
Ingredients:
- 1 cup stone ground grits
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- A few dashes of hot sauce
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese
Instructions:
- In an Instapot or rice cooker, combine the chicken or vegetable stock, grits, smoked paprika, and hot sauce. Place the lid on and set for the “rice” setting.
- Allow it to cook for the full rice cycle (12 minutes with Instapot). Once the cycle is complete, release the steam.
- Add the grated cheddar cheese and cream cheese to the cooked grits.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve and enjoy!
